Ria is a successful businesswoman, a renowned soccer and sports personality, a South African Football Association, (SAFA) and Confederations of African Football Association (CAF) Executive Member.

She is the sole distributor principle of GREE air conditioners in the southern Africa and conducts accredited training to the Public and Private Sectors through her Ifihlile Training Academy. She is also a shareholder of Rehobi Furniture, a company that manufactures office and school furniture for the local market.
